DESCRIPTION:The Annual Meeting of the Oakwood Homeowners Association will be held on Thursday,  November 9, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom.\nTo join, visit https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84497043262?pwd=L0ZBOVpFUE1TZVVLSDR6RkRvS2JHdz09\nMeeting ID: 844 9704 3262\nPasscode: 690200\nWe will be voting for the election of three board members, adopting the 2024 budget (view proposed 2024 budget here), and presenting the status of the Association.\nIf you are interested in running on the ballot for election, please contact Stephanie at seshi@sbcglobal.net ( mailto:seshi@sbcglobal.net ) to notify her of your interest by Friday, November 3, 2023.  This will ensure your name appears on the ballot.  Nominations will also be accepted at the meeting, if necessary.\nAdditionally, you may download a proxy/mail-in form for voting if you are unable to attend the meeting. Since the meeting and election will be virtual, please submit your form to Stephanie, preferably by email to seshi@sbcglobal.net ( mailto:seshi@sbcglobal.net ) by 3:00pm Thursday, November 9, 2023.  You may also mail your form to the management office (c/o Fox Management, PO Box 577, Highland Park, IL 60035), but it must be received by Monday, November 6th   to ensure receipt.  If you are the recipient of a neighbor’s proxy form and will be casting votes on their behalf, please also adhere to the dates listed above for submitting via email/mail.\nFinally, in order for an annual meeting to take place, we need a quorum of 20% or 46 owners and/or proxies – so please attend or send in your vote via proxy!  If we do not have a quorum, then we will have a regular board meeting to review the non-election items listed above.\nWe hope as many homeowners as possible will attend the Annual Meeting.\n2024 PROPOSED BUDGET (PDF)\nPROXY FORM (PDF)\n
